St Bees Head & Beach
FreeDramatic red sandstone headland rising 90 metres above the Irish Sea, the only Heritage Coast in North West England and an RSPB seabird reserve. The north and south headlands either side of St Bees village give deep, clean-ground shore marks.
Access: Free shore access, no rod licence needed for sea fishing
Parking: Car park in St Bees village, short walk up to the headland marks

Deep water close in makes this a good lure and float-fishing mark for pollack and wrasse; mind the tides and cliff paths.
