Glenarm Harbour
FreeA small historic limestone harbour on the Antrim Coast Road, with a modern marina inset into the old stone quays and a beach curving away to the east. It sits at the foot of the southernmost of the Nine Glens of Antrim, giving both harbour-wall and open-beach fishing within a short walk of each other.
Access: Free shore access around the harbour and beach, no rod licence needed for sea fishing
Parking: Marina and village car parking available close to the harbour

Beach fishing brings plaice in summer and a mix of bass, dogfish, cod and whiting the rest of the year. The harbour itself produces dogfish in numbers along with pollock, wrasse, coalfish and flatfish, making it a reliable fallback when the open beach is too rough to fish.
