Mundesley Beach
FreeA proper small-town seaside beach on the north Norfolk coast, with a ramped sea wall and a run of wooden groynes giving easy access at most states of the tide. It shares the same rich species list as the stretch either side of it, cod, whiting, dab, flounder, Dover sole, silver eel, bass, thornback ray, smooth-hound, turbot and brill, with the added bonus of a shop, cafe and toilets right by the beach for anyone fishing a full tide.
Access: Free shore access, no rod licence needed for sea fishing
Parking: Pay-and-display car park at the seafront, short level walk to the beach
