Llandudno Pier
FreeGrade II*-listed Victorian pier opened in 1878, stretching around 700m into the Irish Sea beneath the Great Orme headland and the longest pier in Wales. The landing stage at the seaward end is used by anglers to fish out over deep water for flatfish and other species, though it's restricted to angling access rather than general public promenade.
Access: Free to walk and fish from, no rod licence needed for sea fishing
Parking: Pay and display parking in Llandudno town centre, short walk to the pier entrance

The pier suffered storm damage from Storm Darragh in December 2024; check for any temporary access restrictions before visiting. Also a well-known UK-wide landmark pier, not just a North Wales local mark.
