Peeler and hardback crab, or a half-and-half cocktail, is the standout bait for the spring/summer hound run; the mark gets very busy with anglers when the hounds are in. Multi-hook rigs with ragworm, lugworm or mackerel strip cover the winter flatfish and whiting.
