Herne Bay
FreeA straightforward beach and groyne mark on the North Kent coast, a seasonal run from spring flounder and eel through summer bass to a winter mixed bag of whiting and cod, with a similar species list to neighbouring Reculver and Whitstable.

Also produces dogfish, smooth-hound and various rays across the summer months. A gently shelving beach with groynes breaking it up, easy access along the length of the promenade.
