Fish the clean sand off Shell Beach and Belvoir Beach for the flatfish, then switch to the rocky outcrops either side for bass and pollock on spinners or soft plastic lures. Wrasse respond to crab or shellfish baits fished on the bottom or set deep below a float, and the rocks also hold conger for anglers fishing larger baits after dark.

Sea fishing needs no rod licence anywhere in the UK - shore, boat or wreck marks are all licence-free.
