Langstone Harbour

Hampshire · Coastal

A big tidal harbour that fishes best on the top of the tide, when school bass push in and the odd much larger fish comes with them. Flounder are here too, and the whole harbour rewards a well-timed high water session with fresh mackerel, ragworm or peeler crab.

Access: Free shore fishing from public access points around Langstone Harbour between Portsmouth and Hayling Island

Parking: Small car parks and roadside parking around Langstone village; check local signs
