Sully Island

Small tidal island midway between Penarth and Barry, reached across a rocky causeway that is exposed for around three hours either side of low water. Deep water close off the island rocks is noted for big winter cod.

Access: Free shore access, no rod licence needed for sea fishing

Parking: Car park at the Captain's Wife pub, Swanbridge
