Sully Island
FreeSmall tidal island midway between Penarth and Barry, reached across a rocky causeway that is exposed for around three hours either side of low water. Deep water close off the island rocks is noted for big winter cod.
Access: Free shore access, no rod licence needed for sea fishing
Parking: Car park at the Captain's Wife pub, Swanbridge

Check tide times carefully before crossing the causeway; people have been cut off and needed rescue here.
