Seahouses

Northumberland · Coastal

A working harbour village on the Northumberland coast, gateway to the Farne Islands and a solid pier mark in its own right. The piers give up flounder, codling, rockling, coalfish, plaice, pollock and summer mackerel, while North Sunderland Point just along the shore is the winter cod mark once the water cools.

Access: Free shore access from the piers, no permit needed. Boat trips to the Farne Islands also run from the harbour if you fancy a change from the shore.

Parking: Harbourside parking, full village amenities including tackle and boat-trip bookings
