Giltar Point

Pembrokeshire · Coastal

Free

A dramatic limestone headland just south of Tenby, worth the walk for the setting alone and for the conger eels that lurk in the ledges and gullies below the point. Deep, rough ground close in makes this a proper rock-mark venue rather than a beach-caster's spot - heavy tackle, strong line and a mind for the tide are the price of entry.

Access: Free access via the Pembrokeshire Coast Path from Tenby South Beach or Penally - a proper walk-in mark, no vehicle access to the rocks themselves.

Parking: No parking at the point itself - park at Tenby South Beach or Penally and walk the coast path out, roughly 25-30 minutes each way.
