River Tay near Perth
Day ticketScotland's longest river and one of its most prestigious salmon fisheries, with famous lower beats such as Taymount and Islamouth near Perth. The Tay District Salmon Fisheries Board oversees catch policy; the current British record rod-caught salmon (64lb) was landed here in 1922.
