Pondwood Fisheries
Day ticketA four-lake day-ticket fishery on Pondwood Lane, White Waltham, Berkshire, with a history stretching back to Lake 1's origins as a duck flight pond in 1660. Hook-bait-only rules across all four lakes keep it tight and technical: no groundbait, loose feed or PVA bags anywhere, barbless single hooks only, and no braid or Dacron mainline. Snake Water 3 is float-only, no legering. Reserve Lake 1 in advance by card (non-refundable); the other three run on a turn-up-and-fish basis.
Access: Gates 7am-7pm. Lake 1 (bookable): adults/12+ £15, seniors 65+ and under-12s £8, late ticket (last 4 hours) £8, night session 4pm-4pm £30. Lakes 2, 3 (Snake Water) and 4 (Woodland): £15 full day, £8 late ticket, first come first served. Matches £10 per peg.

Regular match fishing events, with updates posted on the fishery's Facebook page. Strict fishery: no live bait, no peanuts, no luncheon meat or oily pellets/dips, no spinners or lures, no wading, and every fish must be netted rather than swung in.
